The Powermate 330A Power System
Analyzer is a self-contained,
state-of-the-art, portable field
tester that combines all of the
features needed for Power
Quality, Revenue Protection,
Meter/Wiring Verification, CT
Testing, and field Meter
Accuracy testing. Its
lightweight design,
battery-powered operation, and
easy-to-use menus not only allow
quick verification of meter
service wiring and total loop
meter accuracy but also detailed
analysis of installation
components tie, wiring, CTs) if
a problem is found. When used as
part of an integrated testing
program, the Model 330A can
collect Power Quality and
Revenue Protection reference
data during routine meter/wiring
installation verifications
without increasing manpower
requirements.
If a field problem is discovered
that requires a special test,
the capability is present
without carrying additional test
equipment. All of the features
of the Model 330A may be
accessed from the Main Menu by
pressing a single key. If
additional information is
required, the front panel HELP
key may be pressed to provide
complete, context-sensitive help
descriptions.
All tabular data, graphic
displays, and status information
are viewed using the Model
330A's large 320x240 LCD display
which is both backlit and
sunlight readable. Power is
normally provided by its
integral 12VDC NiCd battery but
can be supplied by the standard
external charger or directly
from the line using the optional
line power module. User entry
and control is handled by a
splash proof membrane key panel
with dedicated HELP and Function
keys. RS232 communications (up
to 115.2k baud) is provided
using a standard 9-pin D
connector with hardware
handshaking support tie, CTS/RTS
signals). Data may be stored
directly into the Model 330A
memory for later review or may
be downloaded to a laptop for
data review and/or mass storage.
