The Powermate 330A Power System Analyzer is a self-contained, state-of-the-art, portable field tester that combines all of the features needed for Power Quality, Revenue Protection, Meter/Wiring Verification, CT Testing, and field Meter Accuracy testing. Its lightweight design, battery-powered operation, and easy-to-use menus not only allow quick verification of meter service wiring and total loop meter accuracy but also detailed analysis of installation components tie, wiring, CTs) if a problem is found. When used as part of an integrated testing program, the Model 330A can collect Power Quality and Revenue Protection reference data during routine meter/wiring installation verifications without increasing manpower requirements.

If a field problem is discovered that requires a special test, the capability is present without carrying additional test equipment. All of the features of the Model 330A may be accessed from the Main Menu by pressing a single key. If additional information is required, the front panel HELP key may be pressed to provide complete, context-sensitive help descriptions.

All tabular data, graphic displays, and status information are viewed using the Model 330A's large 320x240 LCD display which is both backlit and sunlight readable. Power is normally provided by its integral 12VDC NiCd battery but can be supplied by the standard external charger or directly from the line using the optional line power module. User entry and control is handled by a splash proof membrane key panel with dedicated HELP and Function keys. RS232 communications (up to 115.2k baud) is provided using a standard 9-pin D connector with hardware handshaking support tie, CTS/RTS signals). Data may be stored directly into the Model 330A memory for later review or may be downloaded to a laptop for data review and/or mass storage.
