For customers that currently own Magnetic IR Pickups and Magnetic Visible Pickups, Powermetrix now offers a Pickup Suction Cup Bracket for meter testing. This bracket is perfect for surface mount meters commonly found in substations or meters with a pulse output not used by the communication port. This bracket also works for Itron CENTRON meters that use the light pipe found on the top of the meter.
The bracket itself is made of metallic material to ensure the pickup will not fall off, and there is also a turn screw with slide to move the pickup up/down to fine tune the position of the pickup. The suction will work on both glass and plastic covers, and it works on both the flat and rounded surfaces.
